Giving Thanks

ECKANKAR, gratitude, Harold Klemp, Shariyat-Ki-SugmadBy Harold Klemp

“Over all these lower worlds the Kal Niranjan was given the responsibility of exercising the power of the negative force. This Kal force was formed to have the strength to give life and body forms for each Atma which came to live in these negative worlds.”

The Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad, Book One, p. 89

On this day, practice gratitude for the gift of life itself and for your own body, mind, and emotions. For all the small things that help you sustain your existence in this world and help you unfold with experience.

You may find that you take extra care with your food, or are kind to yourself in your emotions.

Saying, “Thank you,” aloud or in your heart, is a way to feel God’s love.

From Spiritual Exercises for the Shariyat, Book One, p. 63

  4. Rama Badarou Soule says:

Giving thanks is a powerful remedy against all life situations, no matter how tight, good, bad or worse they may be. Life is a kind of school full of uncertainties. In fact, sometime, crying may not help. We just need to remind our true nature – Soul – and realize that we’re sent for purposes to the lower worlds. Thus, rather turn inward and rely on the ECK and the Mahanta. The ECK teachings give opportunities to realize how important it is to be sincerely grateful. Mostly, the Dream Master kindly shows everyone the reasons: Karma? Past lives? Or simply a lack of attention?
One has to make a regular assessment and give up bad habits, then act in the best way. Mahanta continuing guidance, fundamentally the spiritual exercices help to achieve this.
Yes, GIVING THANKS is a powerful Spiritual Exercise that has helping me to be strong and more confident.
I’ve been keeping giving thanks everyday. Everytime.
Thanks a lot, Wah Z. Words are not enough to express my gratitude to you. May the blessings be!
