I’m so grateful for the Spiritual Exercises for the Shariyat, Book One. It gives all who read it and try the spiritual exercises a unique opportunity to move ahead spiritually.
I believe the reason it is so powerful and effective is that most of the exercises have three parts: a quote from the holy book—The Shariyat; the actual spiritual exercise—each one unique; and guidance on what to look for in your outer life—changes being made by the ECK, the Holy Spirit. Read More
Eckankar conducted a “Journey of Spiritual Discovery” survey that asked questions about ECKists’ experiences. A survey question was “What unanswered spiritual questions did you have PRIOR to finding Eckankar?” The responses of one ECKist seem to reflect a world where many people have lost their heart connections. This person recalled asking, “Am I loved? Am I worthy? Am I alone in this?”
In the following story Linda, an ECKist in Nigeria, shares a personal experience that answered these questions for her. Read More

I was a recently divorced, single mom. My seventeen-year-old son, “Josh,” was a senior in high school and seemed not to care about much. He especially did not care about graduating, and he often got in trouble for skipping school. Eventually he was suspended, and when that didn’t work he was placed on probation and independent study. One more misdeed and he would be permanently expelled. Read More
with inexplicably glorious
an instant in the rush of time,
scarcely a breath of wind.
far beyond the shores of my knowledge
above the mountains arched,
upward to the sky,
the silent voice heard in the whisper,
to hear the unspoken words
etched on the sands
As the eagle dips its wings in gold,
the truth is learned,
the gift is received,
Awareness of Love and Protection
Rising high above our worries and doubts helps us gain the eagle’s perspective of life and truth. Here is a contemplation seed from Sri Harold Klemp to help you become an eagle, soaring into the spiritual heights of your own inner worlds. Read More

An eighty-five-year-old woman didn’t understand the way of ECK and often argued with her ECKist daughter, trying to get her to return to what the older woman held was the true way back to God. One day while she was talking in this way, she fell and cracked a vertebra and was no longer able to walk. So, the daughter took her mother into her home to care for her.
Over the following six months, the mother began to have spiritual experiences. She began to see ECK Masters coming into her room, showing her that relatives and loved ones, who had departed before her, were waiting for her to join them. Many things were explained to her. Read More

The ECK or the Holy Spirit speaks to us all the time, providing guidance, protection and even answers to problems we face in life. All one has to do is be humble enough to listen to the silent voice of the ECK and follow its guidance. Sometimes this spiritual guidance comes by way of ‘waking dream’ experiences that help us sidestep spiritual harm.
I was driving along the highway, feeling frustrated and agitated about an issue that had come up between me and a colleague. Before I knew it, I was having angry thoughts and negative energy was slowly building up within. Just as this was happening, my thoughts were disrupted by a sharp sound of a very tiny object that flew out of nowhere and hit the front windscreen. It was as if I received a small jolt from the sound energy. I knew right away that it was a quick reminder from the Inner Master to watch my negative train of thoughts before they caused me spiritual harm. So I let the angry thoughts go. Read More

Many animals have an uncanny way of knowing where they should go to get the help they need. Those with a higher consciousness even know where to go to give to those who need it.

A while back, I scheduled an elective medical procedure with a registered nurse (RN). As her medical office was being remodeled, she asked if I’d be willing to have the procedure done at her home office. When I arrived, she was outside, talking on her cellular phone. She gestured to me to follow her inside her home.
Once inside, I met her small, fluffy white ball of fur that seemed to think he was a huge guard dog! As I stood in her foyer waiting for her to finish her conversation, I noticed the dog skulking around her and growling at me. Read More

I would like to share with you this story of when I was in a car accident almost two years ago.
I was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car that came out of an intersection and did not stop. It spun my car around several times and totaled my car.
I was taken to the hospital. I had no injuries from the accident but I was admitted when they found that, unknown to me, my body was full of infection. My blood was so low I needed several transfusions and other urgent care.
None of this would have been detected if I had not been in the accident. I could have died within days.
I feel so blessed to have the Mahanta’s and the other ECK Masters’ help in my life!

My younger sister was ill. She kept fainting, and no one knew how to help her. Eventually, she went to her doctor and received a devastating diagnosis: She had an inoperable brain tumor and had only a few months to live. She was only thirty-six years old.
When I heard the news, I wanted to see her. Although she was of another faith, I thought it might help her to have some material on the ECK teachings, so I packed some books and tapes on Eckankar.
When I arrived, I gave her what I’d brought and also gave her a picture of the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. I let her know the Mahanta was the Inner Master and could help her during this difficult time. Then I shared the HU with her. Read More

I worked as an officer in a private bank in India. One day, my manager told me another branch of the bank had a work overload and the head office wondered if I’d be willing to help out. It meant transferring to the other branch for a few months.
I accepted, and one week later I was working in the other branch. My tasks went smoothly. In three months I had completed them all and began to assist as a cash officer.
One morning, my new manager told me it was time to return to my original bank branch. I offered to stay until the end of the day, but the manager refused.
“My instructions are for you to leave immediately!” he snapped. Then he walked away. Read More
